A course for busy pharmacists
Rx Advisor flu jab training course is designed specifically for the "busy pharmacist" . They combine easy to access online learning materials with their face-to-face workshop so that you can benefit from learning in your own time and have the opportunity to practice the practical injection technique and basic life support skills at the workshops. The course is also recognised by pharmadoctor.co.uk who can provide you with a private flu jab PGD once you complete it.
An up to date course for 2018
For 2018 they have made their courses even easier with updates to online learning, so that the workshop session can focus on practical training only. You will also have access to online learning materials and important information after you attend the workshop, so that you can brush up on your knowledge when you start to deliver the NHS service from September to March. Template Sops and links to important information are also provided; useful for you to deliver the NHS service.
You will receive a certificate for participation on this course which will be required for your training records and PGD.
If you attended a face to face workshop in 2017, then you can simply undertake the online refresher course in 2018. This course can be accessed via the link below and has a reduced price of only £25+vat (normally £39+vat).

NHS Influenza Vaccination Training for Pharmacists
The training team at Rx Advisor is delighted to offer a convenient way for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to receive essential Flu Jab Training.
This training covers the NHS Health Protection Agency recommendations for vaccination training and the key aspects of the Green Book (Immunisation Against Infectious Disease) relating to influenza. Training is essential for pharmacists and other health care professionals who offer influenza vaccinations from their practice.
This training course will equip you to competently deliver flu vaccinations to patients that meet the NHS criteria under the National NHS PGD; it also covers management of anaphylaxis and basic life support. Each pharmacist will receive a certificate of course completion.
The training covers all aspects of NHS guidance on vaccine administration and clinical governance. It meets NHS training criteria and incorporates the National NHS PGD.
We cannot guarantee that there will be a place available on your chosen workshop dates. We will aim to allocate a place for you on your choice of dates where possible. Bookings will only be confirmed upon successful receipt of payment. Bookings are non-refundable and you will still be charged for non-attendance (you may send another person in your place if you wish to do so). Reserves the right to cancel the workshop without notice. In the event of a cancellation, booking fees will be refunded in full.
